El 2012 el Tribunal Suprem va dictaminar que els estats que va obligar a ampliar la seva cobertura de Medicaid era inconstitucional. This subject is more than a yes or no. If a retired person doesn't make enough, I can see how they could need the help. You pay all your life to Social Security, you shouldn't have to work till you die. Yet the age for benefits keeps getting older. It should be based on a case to case situation.

Not all states can afford this. Medicare should absorb Medicaid to equalize (adjusted for cost of living) the benefits across the country.

We should have a single payer system and get the issue out of politics so attention can be paid to citizens' health. Use the money now wasted in claims adjudication towards strong fraud de testimony and prevention, which will be more preventable when there is a single system.
