City of Denver says it IS NOT laying off employees to pay for the migrant crisis
But the city IS telling hourly employees they may have their hours reduced to zero
For now, It could impact coaches, lifeguards, front desk staff etc. at rec centers
But don't call them layoffs...

I’m definitely not a fan of this because it will hurt those hourly employees even more than the first cut back of hours. We can’t help migrants at the cost of hurting employees.

Just watch them. Remember, the electorate always votes in the party it deserves.
"Hours reduced to zero". Classic!
Those guys still going to vote Democrat in November? I bet they are
@C4ucusCowDemocrat2mos2MO
Mind you there hasn't been a Republican admin in Denver since the 60's.
Mayors can't run on a party platform since before '47.
What would a GOP do in this position?
Help ICE deport, zero dollars for non citizens, no illegals enrolled in DPS
@C4ucusCowDemocrat2mos2MO
Bow to the federal government?
Paper checking literal children?
Small government GOP right there.
@P4rtisanBenny2mos2MO
Oh, and arrest pols that support sanctuary city policies as accomplices to multiple felonies.
