A lot of protests and resistance movements happen for the purpose of change and even when those goals aren't meant, they are a means of keeping resistance alive within an oppressed group and let their voices be heard. It's very important for a minority group not to lie down and allow transgressions to keep occurring and, as a collective, should find power together to keep on their fight for equality and peace.
