Nuclear power has been proven to be one of the most abundant, efficient, clean, and reliable source of energy currently known to mankind. It is currently implemented by several other advanced countries to great success. Additionally, current unfortunate events has shown that reliable, independently sourced energy is critical to the efforts of protecting the livelihood of our citizens, as evidenced by the current socioeconomic situation in Germany in result of the war in Ukraine. As such, this highly-proven source of energy should be deemed worthy of access to public subsidies.
A major proponent against the use of Nuclear power is the negative public perception of its dangers and risks. Therefore, I propose that we should rebrand this amazing source of energy as something that can be distinguished from these perceptions. For example, we could reform how we refer to it as "Elemental Science Energy", marketing it as the abundant, reliable, clean, efficient, and effective energy that it is, back by the latest modern technology and standards to contain and prevent any harm to the public and the environment. With this distinction, it would be a false representation to compare or refer our Elemental Science Energy to the disasters which happened in Japan and Russia.
